The government is clearly planning to pillage the employees’ provident fund – Sumanthiran  I Sri Lanka Latest News

Although the government initially said that it would not touch the Employees’ Provident Fund in the restructuring of the local debt, it is clear that it is not the case, said TNA Member of Parliament Mr. M.A.Sumanthiran . Sri Lanka Latest News

Yesterday, a discussion was held at the Jetwing Hotel in Colombo under the chairmanship of the President and it was organized by the Tamil National Alliance Member of Parliament Mr. M. Sumanthiran.

Mr. Sumanthiran had invited the Governor of the Central Bank and the opposition party leaders for thid meeting.

The MP told the media after the discussion that it was clearly seen that the government is preparing to touch the employees’ provident fund.
