This is with the fact that several MPs have presented such a proposal in the Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Public Administration.
But in this regard, the Director General of the Election Commission Mr. Saman Sri Ratnayake said that this cannot be done in the Advisory Committee, and that this can be done by bringing and passing a bill to the Parliament.
