With the support of the People’s Republic of China, the distribution of shoes for the students of Mara/Deniya Hanford Tamil Junior College was held yesterday (16) under the program of distributing free school shoes to the students of schools with identified economic difficulties in Matara district.
Mr. Qi Zhenhong, Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Mr. Kanchana Wijesekera, Minister of Electricity and Energy, Mr. Nipuna Ranawaka, Member of Parliament of Matara district and officials of the Chinese Embassy and local leaders participated in this event.
