The “Lawyers of the Aragalaya” claimed that two more people should be added to the list of “Economy Killers” and emphasised that it was because of them that the nation’s economy had reached its current state.

Attorney-at-Law Manoj Nanayakkara, the organization’s convener, claimed that the country’s current predicament was caused by the implementation of unsustainable projects in Sri Lanka, along with the political leadership, who should be held accountable.

The ‘Lawyers of the Aragalaya’ Lakshman stressed that former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa should also have been included in the same, pointing out that five names have come up in this regard: Former Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa, former CBSL Governors Ajith Nivard Cabraal and W.D. Lakshman, and former President’s Secretaries P.B. Jayasundara
