The appeal court overturned the summons issued to DIG Deshabandu I Sri Lanka Latest News

Summons issued by the Colombo fort magistrate’s court on western province DIG Deshabandu Tennakoon was reversed by the Court of appeal today. He was issued summons by the Colombo Fort Magistrate to appear as an suspect in court regarding the in the case of discovery of over one core seventy eight hundred rupees when ‘Aragalaya’ activist entered the President’s house.  Sri Lanka Latest News.

The order was issued by the bench comprising, Judge Nishanka Bandula Karunaratne and A. Marikkar.

Meanwhile, the Attorney General has issued a letter to name Mr. Deshabandu Tennakoon as a suspect in connection with the attack on the “Gota Go Village” struggle in Galle Modara on May 9th of last year.
