He mentions that he will call all the teachers to Colombo tomorrow, urging the government to grant their demands.
Accordingly, he points out that there is a possibility that the teaching activities of many schools in the island will be hampered.
Meanwhile, due to the presence of professional actions in many other fields today, daily duties were disrupted.
Government executive officers as well as university non-academic employees reported sick leave and refrained from coming to work based on several other demands including the resolution of salary discrepancies.
