The former Speaker Mr. Chamal Rajapakse was accused in Parliament of being a member of both the Committee and the Privileges Committee that investigated the incident involving State Minister Diana Gamage.
There, Mr. Rohana Bandara, who was involved in the incident, spoke in the Parliament expressing his protest and Mr. Weerasumana Weerasinghe, the independent member of the opposition, said that this denotes the Sinhala phrase ‘Baduth hamuduruwange, Naduth hamuduruwange’ , verdict reminds of legendary ‘the king Kekille’
