According to the police, several investigation teams have started operations to arrest the suspect who is on the run in connection with the mysterious death of a schoolgirl in Kalutara area.
Commenting on the incident at a press conference held today, Police Media Spokesman Senior Superintendent of Police Attorney at law Nihal Talduwa said this.
Further commenting there, he said that the concerned suspect has been identified by now.
The police further said that it has been revealed that the concerned suspect is a married resident of Kalutara area.
In the meantime, according to the future requirement, the investigating officers will take steps to obtain a foreign travel ban against the suspect, he added.
