The Supreme Court has informed that none of the provisions of the Presidential Privileges (Abolition) Bill conflict with any provision of the Constitution, Speaker Dr. Jagatha Wickramaratne announced in Parliament today (09).
Accordingly, the Court has determined that the Bill can be passed in Parliament by a simple majority, the Speaker further stated.
