Support of the United Nations in the upcoming investigations of the Mullaitivu mass grave! I Sri Lanka Latest News

The United Nations has decided yesterday (15) to provide support for the excavation of the Mulathivu Kokkuthuduwai mass grave and for the excavation and inspection activities. (Sri Lanka Latest News)

This decision was made by the United Nations following a request made by organizations that search for information on persons who have disappeared during the war.

A UN report has stated that 32 human burial sites have been found in Sri Lanka so far, and the Kokkuthudui cemetery is the 33rd human burial site, and it has been mentioned that no mass graves found before were excavated and examined according to international standards. have

Accordingly, the United Nations Organization has informed the organizations searching for information about the missing persons during the war that the United Nations will support the excavation and investigation of the Mullaitivu Kokkuthuduwai Cemetery, and their letter has also been forwarded to the Government of Sri Lanka.
