A candidate contesting as an independent candidate for the upcoming presidential election has died of a sudden heart attack in Puttalam Hospital.Sri Lanka Latest News

A 78-year-old resident of Puttalam named Mohammad Illayas has died.

He has also served as a Member of Parliament in the Bandaranaike government.
