Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage ordered to remand Joseph Stalin, the General Secretary of Ceylon Teachers Service Union, who was arrested until the 12th.
In the meantime, the Colombo Fort Magistrate has ordered that Ven. Koswatte Mahanama Thero be kept in remand custody until tomorrow.
On the 28th of last month, they were arrested by the Fort Police on the charges of holding a demonstration despite court orders.
