Sri Lanka’s Largest Bond Auction Ever Today: Government Seeks $295 Million

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka will pay Rs. 295,000 million treasury bond auction has been called.Sri Lanka Latest News

According to reports, this is the largest treasury bond auction held in one day in Sri Lanka’s financial history.

This auction will be held under the following three maturity categories.

Maturity on 15th October 2027 Rs. 60,000 million,

Maturity on 15th September 2029 Rs. 125,000 million and

Maturity on December 01, 2031 Rs. 110,000 million

The bonds are to be offered for auction.

For this purpose, bids are invited from primary dealers and bids should be submitted only through the e-bid submission facility provided by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
