Sri Lanka’s capital Colombo Municipal Council’s 2026 budget was today (22) rejected by the National People’s Power. A total of 57 votes were cast in favor of the budget, while 60 votes were against it.
It is also reported that firecrackers are currently being lit across Colombo.
