It has been revealed that more than 5,000 people have gone to Dubai for foreign jobs on tourist visas.

It is reported that many of these people who got tourist visas and went to work in the country are suffering greatly because of not getting jobs in the country.

It is also said that some Sri Lankan youths stay on the roads with nothing to do and ask Sri Lankans for money.

It is also reported that many people are stranded in the state of Dubai due to tourist visas being prepared as work permits and they are unable to get passports to return to Sri Lanka.

In the meantime, it is also reported that arrangements are being made to go to the state of Dubai and bring people, including women who have been raped, back to the country through the United Nations International Migration Program.
