A group of 15 officials from the Sri Lankan Supreme Court completed a rigorous four-day training program from May 9th to May 13th at the Supreme Court of India. Throughout the program, the delegates gained insight into the technological advancements and digital processes implemented within the Indian Supreme Court, including the e-Courts project, library resources, and various court procedures such as filing, listing, scrutiny, scanning, and record-keeping. Senior Registrars from the Registry facilitated the sessions, offering detailed explanations and demonstrations of these systems, emphasizing their enhanced transparency, efficiency, and accessibility.
This initiative underscores the robust bilateral relationship between India and Sri Lanka, reflecting a shared commitment to judicial excellence and technological innovation. Guided by the Honorable Chief Justice of India, the Training Cell of the Supreme Court facilitated this endeavour, fostering knowledge exchange and strengthening collaboration with international judicial entities.
