Sri Lanka shares fell in mid-day trade for the third day on Tuesday (18) dragged down by Lanka IOC and Aitken Spence, Colombo Stock Exchange data showed.
The main All Share Price Index (ASPI) slipped 1.07 percent or 95.76 points to 8,887.98 at 1130 hours.
Most liquid index down 1.37 percent or 37.17 points to 2,683.56.
Market generated a turnover of 1.2 billion rupees.
The top losers were Lanka IOC, Aitken Spence, and Hayleys.
