Sri Lanka win the second ODI against Afganistan I Sri Lanka Latest News

The 02nd ODI between Sri Lanka and the visiting Afghanistan team took place today at the Hambantota International Cricket Stadium.

Winning the toss, Sri Lanka decided to bat first and scored a solid 323 for the loss of 6 wickets.

Kusal Mendis added a much-needed 78 runs in 75 balls before delivering a catch to Rahmanullah Gurbaz on the delivery by Fareed Ahmad.

Batting second, Afghanistan were bowled out and only managed to score 192 runs in 42.1 overs.

Ibrahim Zadran and Hashmatullah Shahidi passed the half-century mark scoring 54 runs and 57 runs respectively.

Dhananjaya De Silva was crowned the man of the match bagging 3 wickets with an economy of 3.90.
