In this year’s index, Sri Lanka scored 35.21 points.
The index was released today (03) by the International Organization of Reporters Without Borders.
This index, which is released every year, includes 180 countries and last year, Sri Lanka managed to occupy the 135th position in this index.
According to the index, economic, social, political and security reasons have contributed to Sri Lanka falling 15 places this year.
