Its General Secretary, Member of Parliament Dayasiri Jayasekara said that the Sri Lanka Freedom Party will also participate in the massive agitation and protest campaign to be held tomorrow (2) against the repressive program of the government.
Mr. Jayasekara stated that he will definitely support this protest against the government’s program of suppressing trade unions and university students and not giving them the opportunity to protest, and his party is against suppressing non-violent protests as it is the right of the people.
He said this while addressing a press conference held today (1) at the party headquarters.
