There, the Minister said that in his attempt to change the Sports Act, the President appointed a committee headed by Mr. Sagala Ratnayake, and he also participated in the discussion.
The minister said that Mr. Sagala Ratnayake had sent him a proposal to be included in the bill and that if the proposal was included in the bill, the thieves would steal again and again.
The minister also stated that based on the appointment of the selection committee, the president informed him to withdraw it, and he objected to it and informed the president to take a decision of his choice.
The minister also mentioned that he will take steps to make a special statement regarding the court decision tomorrow.
