Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield was recently spotted enjoying the popular Sri Lankan ginger beer brand, EGB, during an appearance on the YouTube show Chicken Shop Date.

In the latest episode, host Amelia Dimoldenberg interviewed Garfield, best known for his role as Spider-Man. The British media highlighted Dimoldenberg’s warm welcome to the newly-single star, with the two discussing various topics, including a few memorable interactions they’ve shared in the past.

At one point in the interview, Garfield is seen sipping on EGB, prompting Dimoldenberg to ask if he enjoys ginger beer. While Garfield confirmed his liking for it, Dimoldenberg admitted that she’s not a fan of the beverage.

Former Head of Marketing at Elephant House Beverages, Mevan Peiris, shared the moment on social media, commenting, ‘I think Elephant House just struck some GOLD! Andrew Garfield sipping on an EGB.’

Chicken Shop Date is created, written, and directed by Amelia Dimoldenberg.
