A special train departed from Colombo Fort to Beliatta at 6:50 a.m. today (26), honoring the passengers and railway workers affected by the tsunami tragedy at the Paraliya railway station.
In a poignant gesture, the train utilized the same locomotive involved in the tragic events at Paraliya.
During the journey, the passengers paused at Paraliya railway station for approximately 10 minutes to pay their respects and commemorate the tsunami victims.
