SLTDA reports over 22,000 foreign tourists in SL.

According to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA), over 22,000 foreign tourists are currently in the country.
According to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, foreign tourists have arrived from 136 countries. According to the SLTDA, 1,785 tourists arrived from Australia, 2,295 from Canada, 1,310 from France, 1,883 from Germany, 2,569 from India, 1,392 from Russia, 2,397 from the United Kingdom, and 1,379 from the United States.
The SLTDA also stated that it is investigating and facilitating the needs of tourists currently in Sri Lanka in collaboration with industry stakeholders.
“We are making every effort to minimize any inconvenience caused to tourists as a result of the current crisis,” said the SLTDA.
