The Sri Lanka Cricket Executive Committee has decided to give a cash prize of one crore rupees to Tarushi Karunaratne, who won a gold medal in the women’s 800m event at the Asian Games, said its chairman Mr. Shammi Silva. Sri Lanka Latest News
The chairman further mentioned that a proposal was made to the Sri Lanka Cricket Executive Committee that Tarushi should be appreciated for bringing a gold medal to Sri Lanka after 21 years and accordingly, it was decided to award this cash prize.
