The discussions regarding the merger between the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and the United National Party (UNP) have been successfully concluded, announced SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara.
He further stated that both parties have agreed to recognize Sajith Premadasa as the leader of the merged entity.
