The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has decided to submit a no-confidence motion in Parliament against Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya.
This decision was reached at a meeting of the party’s parliamentary group held yesterday.
Accordingly, opposition Members of Parliament are expected to sign the no-confidence motion today.
The motion is being brought forward citing concerns over the inclusion of a link to an inappropriate website in the Grade 6 English module, as well as issues related to the ongoing education reforms.
