The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has announced its intention to file a formal complaint with the Election Commission regarding recent statements made by the President and the government, which the party claims are aimed at influencing the upcoming election.
Speaking on the matter, SJB’s Colombo mayoral candidate Ruiz Hanifa described the remarks as undemocratic and called on the Election Commission to take appropriate action.
