Acting irresponsibly, which resulted in the importation of substandard medication and medical equipment, which resulted in unfortunate deaths, was used as the basis for filing a no-confidence motion against Minister of Health Keheliya Rabukwella by Samagi janabalwegaya. Sri Lanka Latest News

In the past, a large number of deaths occurred in the hospital system of our country due to the importation and use of inferior and substandard drugs. The Samagi Jana Balawegaya continuously informed the government about it, but they did not care about it, considering it to be an emergency, the drugs were imported outside of the procurement and registration process, and as a result, many major hospitals in the country lost their lives.

Keeping these facts in mind, the motion of no confidence will be signed today and the opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa said in the parliament today that if the members of the ruling party who came to the parliament by popular vote have any backbone, they should sign the motion of no confidence. Likewise, the opposition leader further said that the health of a country is the life of the people and the deterioration of health is a reason for the collapse of the life of the people.
