Kalutara SJB MP Jagath Withana has firmly stated that any merger involving the UNP must exclude individuals with a notorious reputation for theft within the party.
He made this remark during a party discussion held in Kalutara, which was attended by SJB General Secretary Ranjith Maddumabandara. The discussion primarily focused on the potential merger between the SJB and UNP.
MP Withana further asserted that the entire nation is well aware of the individuals within the UNP who carry such reputations, emphasizing the need for integrity in any future collaboration.
