Professor Charitha Herath said that when Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe was the Prime Minister, the Legislative Council belonged to the Parliament, and after Mr. Wickremesinghe became the President, the Legislative Council belonged to the Executive. Sri Lanka Latest News

Mr. Herath said that the President has planned to appoint a Parliamentary Select Committee to look into the affairs of the Legislative Assembly and said that there is a possibility of creating a constitutional crisis through this.
