Former State Minister of Finance, Shehan Semasinghe, has extended his gratitude to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank for their support in helping Sri Lanka navigate its economic crisis. His appreciation comes following a visit to Washington, USA, where he engaged with representatives from both institutions.

Following his meetings, Semasinghe shared a note on platform X, acknowledging the vital role played by the IMF, the World Bank, and all stakeholders in stabilizing Sri Lanka’s economy.
