The Bambalapitiya police say that a 50-year-old private bank manager, who allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl in a leading school in Colombo, was taken to public parking lots in a dark-glassed jeep.
The girl has been admitted to Kalubowila Teaching Hospital.
Police say that the arrested suspect’s wife is dead and he is the father of two girls aged 13 and 17 years.
The girl resides in an area close to Colombo and it has been revealed during the police investigation that a few months ago a call was received on a home phone and disconnected when she was alone at home.
