Seven newly appointed ambassadors to Sri Lanka officially presented their credentials to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (15).
The ambassadors represent the following countries: the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Zimbabwe, Israel, the Republic of the Philippines, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Kingdom of Cambodia, and the Kingdom of Denmark.
The full list of ambassadors who presented their credentials today is as follows:
- Mr. Mariano Agustin Caucino – Ambassador of the Argentine Republic, resident in New Delhi
- Ms. Stella Nkomo – Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe, resident in New Delhi
- Mr. Reuven Javier Azar – Ambassador of Israel, resident in New Delhi
- Ms. Nina P. Cainglet – Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines, resident in Dhaka
- Mr. Lukmon Bobokalonzoda – Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, resident in New Delhi
- Ms. Rath Many – Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia, resident in New Delhi
- Mr. Rasmus Kristensen – Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark, resident in New Delhi
The ceremony was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath, as well as Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.
