Attracting over 130 participants, the event provided valuable insights to potential and existing Matale region investors, underscoring the significance of financial literacy and investor education in making informed investment decisions.

The event commenced with an introduction to the basics of investing at the Colombo Stock Exchange. The session, led by Mr. Thusitha Meegahakumbura, Branch Manager – Kurunegala, CSE, covered the fundamentals of investing, offering participants an understanding of the process and the benefits of entering the market.

Further enhancing the understanding of digital investment tools, Mr Dhananjaya Abeysiriwardana, Branch Manager – Kandy, CSE, introduced the audience to the CSE Mobile App, explaining its features and how it facilitates easier access to the stock market. A video demonstration of the app further showcased its functionalities.
