Former Army Commander and Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka has stated that the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) currently lacks mature leadership.
Commenting on the party’s present situation, Fonseka remarked that there are no capable or seasoned individuals within the SLFP ranks at this time.
It is noteworthy that he previously contested in the presidential election but faced a heavy defeat and failed to secure a seat in Parliament.
