Sandra Perera, the private secretary to former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, has been summoned by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with an ongoing investigation into a foreign trip allegedly funded by the financial allocations of the Presidential Secretariat.
In relation to the same investigation, former Presidential Secretary Saman Ekanayake has also been summoned to appear before the CID tomorrow.
