Sajith will march against repression tomorrow! Joint Declaration signed! (VIDEO)

Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the opposition leader, said that some people are saying that Samagi Jana Balawega will not participate in tomorrow’s march, which is a complete lie.

The opposition leader said that we should not fight against repression in isolation, and said that we should unite and struggle for it. The opposition leader said that this country cannot be built by isolation and narrow agendas, and emphasized the importance of everyone coming together to face the ongoing repression.

The leader of the opposition said that a peaceful march will be held tomorrow, and if the security forces are ready to suppress it, they should withdraw their preparations immediately, and if anyone interferes with the peaceful protest, all possible measures will be taken against it.

The opposition leader said that no one has the right to oppose the democratic peaceful march and said that the Rajapaksas are the fathers of repression.

The opposition leader said that Siridhamma Thero, Wasantha Mudalige and other people were arrested and imprisoned without any charges and said that the Rajapaksa and other MPs from Pohottuwa should be rehabilitated.

The opposition leader said this at the signing of the joint declaration of trade unions against repression. It was held today (01) at the office of the opposition leader in Colombo.
