Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa today paid visits to the Malwatte and Asgiri Maha Theros.
During the visit, the Malwatte Anunayake Thero requested the Opposition Leader to pay homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic. However, Mr. Premadasa respectfully declined, stating that politicians should refrain from actions that could inconvenience the public, especially those who have been queuing for days to offer their devotions.
