Sajith Premadasa Questions Tax-Free Import of Unrefined Coconut Oil, Cites Rs. 5 Billion Revenue Loss

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa recently questioned the government in Parliament over the importation of unrefined coconut oil without tax payments.

He highlighted that this has resulted in a revenue loss of approximately 5 billion for the government.
