Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the second son of former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and a prominent figure in Libya’s political landscape, has been killed, according to major international media outlets including Al Jazeera.
Reports state that the attack was carried out by four armed assailants who forced their way into his residence in the western Libyan town of Zintan. The attackers reportedly disabled security cameras before carrying out the killing.
