Peiris, Member of Parliament representing the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Professor Pieris made this to Sagara Kariyawasam the general secretary of the party. He further said that , he would make a challenge to sagara kariyawasam if possible to remove him from the presidency of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.
He also mentioned that the party is still not doing so because it knows that it cannot be done legally.
Professor GL Peiris said this in response to a question raised by a journalist at a press conference held by the Freedom National Assembly today (21) near the Parliament.
