He also pointed out that the Basnayaka Nilame of Ruhunu Maha Kataragama Temple is not capable of making such an order.

He said, “My lawyers will take action tomorrow (21st) to file a lawsuit demanding five crore rupees for insulting me by telling me not to come to the temple.”

“I only go to the festivals of the great temple. I go to the temple for the New Year festival. “This devil cannot be allowed to do that,” he said to Aruna newspaper.

Basnayake Nilame has informed in writing to Chief Kapurala and Chuti Kapurala, who was in charge of the store, not to enter the temple palace from yesterday (18th) in connection with the disappearance of a gold plate offered by Angoda Boss’s wife to the Ruhunu Maha Kataragama temple.
