Former SriLankan cricketer Roshan Mahanama made an entry in his twitter account condemning the summoning of the champion swimmer Julian Bollig to the CID. He highlighted the importance of freedom of expression in a democratic society.
“Right for speech and expression of your opinion in a peaceful way is our basic human right. In a society where people turn a blind eye for money, power & personal interest, my friend Julian has always been outspoken and stood for what’s right without any political bias, like me”.
