The Rambadagalla court has mandated an expert report on the demise of seven chickens, which ingested rice distributed to low-income earners by the government. This directive followed the presentation of evidence by health authorities.
The incident occurred when rice allocated to a Ridigama Panagamu resident was shared with the chickens. According to the homeowner’s complaint to the Public Health Office, the chickens became unconscious and subsequently perished.
