Vattukkott police have arrested a teacher of a school in Analativ area of Jaffna who raped a thirteen-year-old student and ran away. (Sri Lanka Latest News)
The parents of the student had complained to the police that after the teacher raped the student on July 31st, he was hiding and the other teachers of Analative School helped him to protect him.
The schoolgirl who faced the incident was returning home after participating in a tutoring class of that teacher, she was taken home on the teacher’s motorcycle and then taken to another house where the student was raped.
After the investigations carried out by the Vattukkott police, the suspected teacher was arrested and brought before the Jaffna court.
