Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake, leader of the JVP, stated that the government is prepared to spend 7900 billion rupees next year and that the government does not have 10 billion for the election.

The government’s budget document states that the expenditure for next year will be 7900 billion rupees, with the local government election costing approximately 10 billion rupees.

The government’s latest formula is now addressing the money issue. However, according to the budget document presented by the government, the government’s expenditure for next year is 7,900 billion rupees. The election will cost a maximum of 10 billion rupees. So, if you’re willing to pay 7900 billion rupees, why are you complaining that there aren’t 10 billion rupees for the election? This began as the government’s latest strategy for postponing the elections. We argue that the gang that took over the government by force should no longer be allowed to rule the country. “We will oppose wherever we want,” he added.
