President Ranil Wickramasinghe stated that he would provide a suitable response at the appropriate time regarding the proposal for him to contest the upcoming presidential election. He made this remark following the unanimous adoption of a proposal urging him to run for president at a public rally held in Gampaha today (21).
Minister Prasanna Ranatunga added that Ranil Wickramasinghe could not avoid the presidential candidacy.
