Member of Parliament Dilan Perera says that the government’s proposal to abolish the post of executive president is like having a board displaying ‘ Budusaranai’ and transporting stolen cattle. (Sri Lanka Latest News)
He says that the goal of such a proposal is not to abolish the office of the Executive President, but to return to the presidential chair through the backdoor because Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe cannot come to the office of the President by voting.
MP further said President comes to parliament and says to unite together but underneath a political deal woven with tricks is eminent. Same with Mr Basil Rajapaksa who too is a deal maker and tries to disrupt alliance forming.
MP Dilan Perera said that the deal makers are everywhere, including the SJB, the Free People’s Assembly and the Uttar Lanka Sabha.
