Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Western and Southern provinces will experience rain or thundershowers from time to time.
In some places in Sabaragamuwa province and Nuwara Eliya district, mm. Highs above 100 are possible.

There are several rainy seasons in the northern and north-central provinces.
In the western slopes of the Central Hills and in the North, North Central, Western, South and North Western Provinces and in Trincomalee district, the winds are blowing at times per km. Gusts around (50-60) are possible.
In the rest of the island, the winds are blowing from time to time. The department has further informed that strong winds of around (30-40) may occur.
